My husband and I are going to participate in Atlanta’s 1 Million Steps 4 OCD walk on June 4th. The walk was begun by a father who lost his son to OCD and Body Dysmorphic Disorder. He walked 500 miles to commemorate his son’s life. The next year the International Obsessive Compulsive Foundation began the 1 Million Steps 4 OCD annual walk to raise awareness and funds to help others who suffer from OCD. The IOCDF is a wonderful organization who supports those of us with OCD and other related disorders. My husband and I have a fundraising page if you would like to check it out. Our goal is $50.00. Thanks for looking!
Friend I love you! I just ran across your blog from Zack’s post (and read the whole thing). Thank you so much for sharing, your words ministered to this fellow anxiety sufferer.

Aww yay! I’m so glad that you stopped by. I’ve been really afraid to go public about it, but it was something God wanted to use. Love you!

I have been learning more and more recently (partly through counseling partly through other means such as sermons and such ) that it is often our vulnerabilities and the places where we feel weak that God’s wonderful beautiful light shines through the brightest! I am so glad you shared and let God’s brightness shine through you!
